Hailstorm hits Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, damages homes and crops

Rain also lashed other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Nowshera, and Malakand

After Islamabad, a hailstorm battered the Landi Kotal area of Khyber District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The rain, coupled with hailstorms, left a trail of destruction, damaging car windows, solar panels, and tree branches.

According to official reports, other areas of Khyber District, such as Bara and Jamrud, were also hit by heavy rains accompanied by strong winds and dark clouds. The hailstorm shattered car windows in multiple locations.

While the overall weather in the region turned pleasant, concerns about flooding and landslides in canals have risen. Vehicles are being diverted from flooded roads on the Pak-Afghan Highway. The district administration has advised citizens to take precautionary measures to protect their crops from further damage.

In Lower Chitral, three houses were damaged after being struck by flash floods.

Rain also lashed other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Nowshera, and Malakand.
